Chocolate

Yay, it's examination period and that means loads and loads of chocolate. So in order to respect that here's my Top Three of Chocolate (and yes, this is another top something post) in random order:

1. Finnish chocolate (especially Fazer)
2. Swiss chocolate (Lindt - I personally blame you Myriam;)
3. Belgian chocolate (oh, divine Godiva)

Bubbling under: Ghanain dark chocolate with orange flavour; half melted Mars bar in the hot Beninese afternoon.

And in case you wonder: Yes, I'm a serious chocoholic and not even a bit embarrassed to admit! But unfortunately there isn't any songs about chocolate in my iTunes library (but oddly enough loads of about other stuff such as cloudberries, sugarcubes, milk and biscuits) so I'll just recommend something else that's sweet: Chewing Gum by Annie :)

Nam!

What about the really tasty Milka-chocolate? I'm disappointed, you haven't mentioned it here...;)

hey, is there no one else, who likes the tasty Milka :)? Not even you, Minkki? Maybe you aren't a REAL Chocoholic.....?

Milka is ok, except that it tastes more like milk than chocolate. So Milka is nice to have around when you're for example in China and have no access to good chocolate. If there's Fazer and Milka side by side on the counter, I don't even notice the latter...

My current favourite is belgian brand Newtree and their dark chocolate with blackcurrant and raisin extract. You can get it at least from kauppahalli in Helsinki harbour.

Milka - that's for kids in my opinion. As Teemu said, too much milk, not enough chocolate.

I remember how I ate chocolate during my military service in mid-1990s. Tempted by those memories I actually bought chocolate a couple of months ago. I ate a whole bar of Mars and felt sick afterwards. And it wasn't as good as my memories had suggested.

Funny how things change. I wonder if that happens with wine and all the other stuff if you stay away from them long enough?

Oh, I have to agree with Teemu. Lauri, you should really give it a go...I bet you can't do that ;)

And what it comes to Mars bars: they usually make you nauseous...

Just got me wondering, and a quick browse with google showed that *enter-anything-here*.blogpsot.com opens those bibliomanic pages. Also for example www.parentalguide.com. And I am sure many many other innocent addresses...

Pirskahtelevan Iloista Nimpparia Minna!

Hienoja juttuja, oot kyllä jo hyvä kirjoittamaan englanniksi.
Tulin maanantaina Accrasta, Ghanasta ja täytyy sanoa että totta täällä puhutaan. Ghanalainen tumma suklaa on hirrrrmu hyvää, njam! Mutta aijai niin kallista.

Sekä Ghana maana oli asiaa!

Pieni runo:
"Ghana oli khuuli,
siellä puhaltaa Saharan tuuli.
Kävin Atlantin äärellä,
chillaas Labadi biitsillä."

Pusssar,
Milla
