Going, Going But Not Quite Gone (Yet)

So I made it through examination period more or less alive. But what might kill me is the on-going process of endless parties and nights out. It's unbelievable how much and how many nights a person can do drinking and partying in a row. I started a week ago on Thursday and haven't stop since.

Well, basically I can't or even want do that cos I only have time until next Saturday in London. My time here is almost up and of course I have to get everything out of the remaining time ;) But I can't really complain. The city and people are treating me great and even the weather is amazing. So I have spent lots of time in parks and terraces. And I even went to beach a week ago in Brighton. Ah, this is what I call life!

I just finished packing most of my London life into two suitcases for my mum and her friend to take back to Finland. And let me say it wasn't easy. After nine months in the capital there was plenty of junk to stuff into those poor bags. Now I can only hope they'll end up back in Finland in one piece. Oh, and naturally that those things left behind won't exceed 15 kilos limit of Ryanair.

As my time in London is almost finished I have been thinking whether I should change the name of this blog. Cos obviously it won't be about living in London but in Helsinki instead. So any opinions or suggestions?

"So any opinions or suggestions?"

Since it was I who came up with the title, I guess I should suggest a new one... Continuing with the theme, what's the Finnish equivalent to fish & chips?

Kalakeitto? Kalakukko? Muikut & muusi? Silli & uudet perunat? Uudet perunat?

Also: Minkkitarha? Minkki Pantteri?

Fine, I'll get me coat.

Apropos, here's something vaguely disturbing Google threw at me when I was "researching" for a new blog title.

Makkaraperunat? Nakit ja muusi? In addition you could try to add some more. You know, stuff related to ordering those classics, like "makkaraperunat munalla, ranskalaiset rahalla". Btw, dmoumikuo they have the same thing in England?

I was just saying to A-R that most likely you'll update your blog a lot less frequently in Finland - at least in my case there's not that much to write about, really :) Especially if you're struggling with your G...Look at A-R, or me, or Relmari: nobody's writing anything anymore about their life, it's just sooo normal. Too un-interesting. Ah, c'est la vie!

Well, it might be normal for us leaving in Finland but it'll definitely be more abnormal (read interesting) to all my foreign friends...So maybe it's worth updating after all.
